Our Week

One new baby pool (with a slide or headrest, seen below). Sleepovers and soccer games with our cousins Tommy (go #17!) and Wyatt. Handy Home Depot outing. Posing for a pic in a new Old Forge t-shirt from Aunt Lisa (thank you!) and cute head bow from Auntie Crystal. Days at the park. A first “Mad Hatter” birthday party for our baby girl cousin. And too many wet towels all over the house.

It’s almost summer!

Christmas Snapshots

A little look into our lives over this past December. What a fun time! As Blake would sing.. Happy Day! (Happy Holidays!)

1. Santa Visits Our Town // 2. Blake before his first ever Holiday Happening recital. // 3. Our little guy loving the spotlight and singing to all of us parents. SO proud! // 4. Oh what fun! Thomas and Blake on Mike and Ryan’s shoulders at Aunt Nancy’s house. One of my favorite Christmas parties every year. // 5. Jamie, Blake, Mike, and Thomas get together for a picture. Love my sister’s top! // 6. Lauren, Blake, and I put together a toy at Papa T’s house. // 7. Papa T, Blake, and Mike pose on Christmas Eve. // 8. Santa brought B exactly what he wanted–a green bike! // 9. Blake coming downstairs so excited to see what’s under the tree. // 10. Testing it out! // 11. Christmas Day over Dad and Jeanette’s house. We had fun! Hope you did too!

River Rats

Last weekend, my Dad invited us on a family trip to the “River house” outside of Laughlin, NV. It was fun, a little tiring with a sick Blakey, and a memory we will treasure. It was B’s first time on a wave runner (those pics are on Mal’s camera but, believe me, he had fun).

Highlights included: Our first real road trip with Blakey who was AMAZING and didn’t get cranky at all; a highly enjoyable meal of carne asada, thanks to Jay; watching two little cousins play and swim together (sharing is still a struggle but I know that will pass); the gun show (see pic below); swimming in the pool; watching video of Mal take Fearless Blake down the huge water slide; and spending time with family.

Here are a few shots to share:

What life is all about: Easter 2012

Such fun!

I haven’t blogged in awhile and feel awful about it. I promised myself to keep at least an online journal/diary of what was going on in Blake’s life… and so, it’s time to start up again.

We had a GREAT time at Easter this year… Tommy and Blake got to play with water balloons and shoot each other with water guns, and hunt for eggs; The guys got to watch The Masters; The girls got to play with the kiddies and munch on deviled eggs, lemon cupcakes, and ham sandwiches. It was perfect.

Mallory just sent me an email that read:
“Thank you Jenn for including us! We all had a really good time. I picked Thomas up from school on Tuesday for Ryan, and as soon as we started driving home he told me “We go to Blake’s house?” :) We will have to have to plan something soon, so the next generation of cousins can play together!”
